Our service begins at 9:00 AM every Sunday. We worship in person and via Facebook Live (and recorded) feed. Click on the Facebook link under our 'WORSHIP - Join Us Online' web page to be directed to the Long Lake Lutheran Church Facebook page. Links to the weekly bulletin and lessons can be found there too.

Communion is served in-person in front of the altar. If you are unable to come forward, please notify the usher and the elements will be brought to you. All are welcome at our table!

Health Safety Reminder

If you choose to worship with us in person, remember that you are most welcome! Please feel free to use available hand sanitizer. Masking is optional for healthy individuals. Social distancing is a personal choice. We have plenty of room for you!

BUT…

COVID is still with us. It continues to be a particular risk to the elderly, those with weakened immune systems, and other vulnerable populations.

We are very pleased to worship together for indoor and outdoor services. Each member or visitor should understand that like visiting anything else, personal safety is paramount. Our goal as a congregation is to protect each other from illness, including COVID. We must all take precautions to protect ourselves, each other, and the community. Because of this, we kindly invite you to read our guidelines regardless of vaccination status:

  • If you any have symptoms of illness, including but not limited to those of COVID, we recommend and encourage you to wear a mask or join worship online from home.
  • If you have recently (within the past 5 days) had a known exposure to COVID but do not have symptoms, we recommend and encourage you to wear a mask or join worship online from home.
  • If you have tested positive for COVID, and have symptoms, please join us online from home.

Bad weather?

Sure, it happens up here. If worship services are cancelled because of bad weather, an announcement will be made on radio station WJMC in Rice Lake (96.1 FM or 1240 AM) and the prayer chain will be activated to notify parishioners by telephone. During the week, when school activities are cancelled in Spooner and/or Rice Lake because of severe weather, all church activities will be cancelled as well; the church office will be closed. In case of heavy snowfall and the schools are delayed or not closed, the church office will not open until 10:30 a.m. in order to give the plows or sanding trucks an opportunity to open the roads for travel.

9:00 AMSunday Worship

Outdoor Worship is planned for spring to fall, and is weather dependent. If weather it does not permit, we move our worship service indoors.
